Outdoor media company Adshel has restructured its marketing team and launched a strategic integration division headed by new recruit Charlotte Vente, an experienced media strategist.

The announcement:

Adshel, Australia’s leading provider of outdoor advertiser solutions, today announced a significant expansion and restructure of its marketing team.

The changes will combine the strategy, research, creative, innovation and product marketing teams to form a new Strategic Integration (SI) Division.

Experienced strategist Charlotte Valente, who joins Adshel from running her own media strategy agency, will head the SI Division up reporting to Director of Marketing Nicole McInnes.

The team has been expanded to include the appointment of Sarah Hughes joining from APN Outdoor and Leah Buckley from Pacific Magazines.

Effective immediately, the restructure comes as a result of independent research carried out on behalf of Adshel, surveying over 300 media and marketing professionals from across Australia around their perceptions of agency/owner relationships.

The survey revealed that despite many media owners talking up insights, many were lacking in delivering genuine client-focused data. The new SI division has been created to address these concerns by placing data-led strategy at the heart of marketing operations.

Director of Marketing Nicole McInnes said Adshel have listened to the market, and were introducing widespread changes in response to their replies.

“Strengthening our ability to add useful and effective insights offers us the opportunity to work with advertisers to maximise the true potential of our market leading network,” she said.

“I’m confident these transformations will help us to evolve our position as one of Australia’s most relevant and progressive media brands,” she added.
