Adshel tells advertisers to show off their ‘summer briefs’

Adshel is encouraging advertisers to lock in their summer campaigns early in a new trade media campaign.

‘Show us your summer briefs’ will highlight the importance of brands briefing Adshel early to ensure they capture the consumers’ attention this summer.

The campaign is supported by a ‘summer slingshot’ game for agencies where contestants will use budgie smugglers to shoot Adshel branded ping pong balls into game board cups.

A player from each agency will go onto the Adshel Summer Briefs Leader Board, displayed on Adshel’s website and Facebook page, with the top 20 scores set to win a Weber Baby Q Barbeque.

Charlotte Valente, Adshel’s head of marketing said the company’s suite of solutions were “extremely effective” in driving intrigue and purchase intent, and “savvy advertisers” were already sharing summer briefs.

“Advertisers have the opportunity to influence early and inspire shoppers during this hectic period. Getting out early is key to, not only securing prime placements, but making an impact during the planning and research phase which will result in a brand being more likely to end up in the basket or under the Christmas tree,” said Valente.

Adshel current claims more than 19,000 touch points nationally, influencing 92% of Australians 68 times each fortnight.
