AFL now available on Foxtel Go
The AFL will now be available on Foxtel’s tablet app Foxtel Go.

Foxtel has today announced that starting now, Foxtel Go users are able to watch every game of the home and away 2013 Toyota AFL Premiership Season LIVE on the go.
The first live match will be tomorrow night’s top of the table clash between the undefeated Geelong and Essendon teams live from the MCG from 7.30pm.
AFL joins the Foxtel Go line-up with the launch of FOOTY PLAY available now on Foxtel Go to Foxtel sports package customers included with their subscription.*
All games for the rest of the 2013 home and away season will now be available on Foxtel Go with compatible iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
Also included as part of the Foxtel Go AFL service:

Exclusive magazine programs including After The Bounce, AFL 360, On The Couch, AFL Insider, League Teams and Open Mike.

An additional channel, FOOTY PLAY+, that will be used to ensure customers do not miss out when more than one LIVE AFL game is on at the same time.

Contrary to what is stated in the Foxtel media release, tonight’s Geelong – Essendon AFL match is being played at Etihad stadium, not the mighty MCG.

About time. Enough people must have cracked it at Telstra blacking out streaming of games so the apple and android apps would get their $89 a season.
