Agent 3 expands operations to Asia Pacific and hires Roger Marshall as APAC partner

Marketing agency Agent 3 has expanded its operations into the APAC region, opening an office in Sydney.

To lead the new operation in Australia, Agent 3 has hired Roger Marshall as APAC partner.

Marshall will be leading the new APAC operation for Agent 3

Marshall joins after five years with Essential Energy. He started in 2014 as manager of corporate affairs and was later elevated to general manager of customer and stakeholder engagement, then head of stakeholder engagement.

Marshall said of his new role: “I’ve been working in B2B communications, digital marketing and stakeholder engagement now for over 25 years, most of that time living in Australia and building agencies across Asia Pacific. As businesses in APAC continue to increase their focus on growing known revenues and closing deals more quickly, the rise of Account Based Marketing means there’s never been a more exciting time for B2B marketers here. True ABM finally empowers sales teams to harness data, technology and content in driving business success while enabling B2B marketers to shift their focus from a generalist to a highly personalised approach.

“Following a really enjoyable five-year spell working in-house to build digital communications and stakeholder engagement practices in the energy sector, it’s great to be back in the agency environment and leading the charge for Agent3’s global expansion into APAC.”

Marshall also said that his “immediate priorities are to continue the excellent services delivered to existing customers in APAC from our global teams in London, New York and San Francisco”.

“At the same time, I’m hiring the best digital and marketing automation people as I grow Agent3’s in-region capabilities,” he added.
