Nightingale Communications rebrands to Nightingale Advisors, announces new hires

Nightingale Communications has brought its executive search recruitment arm together with its communications business and rebranded to Nightingale Advisors.

The agency previously operated its recruitment services under the name of Temple Executive Search Melbourne, which it licensed from the national Temple business. The move to rebrand the agency comes after the licensing agreement came to an end.

To support the new operation, Nightingale Advisors has hired Catriona Booth as a director in its Sydney office, and Fleur Leyden as director of insights in Melbourne.

Booth joins after spending over a year at Hargrave Communications in LA, where she was managing director. She was previously assistant vice president of management consultancy Fitzroy, which was later acquired by Teneo. Booth has also worked at Origin Energy and Hill + Knowlton Strategies.

Leyden was previously the head of corporate affairs at the Bank of Melbourne. She spent almost five years with the business, starting out as head of media and communications before being promoted in 2017. Leydon joins Nightingale Advisors after spending two years as a corporate affairs and communications consultant.

In an announcement on LinkedIn, founding partner, Kate Inverarity, wrote: “We believe that our ability to add value to clients in search is enhanced by the fact that we remain deeply plugged-in to the issues, challenges and opportunities facing organisations. In the same way, we are better advisors because we understand the dynamics of organisations, the demands on their team, and the market for talent. We are delighted to welcome two team members to the fold. Catriona Booth joins us as a Director in Sydney and Fleur Leyden joins as Director, Insights in Melbourne.”

Temple Executive Search, which was founded in 2013 by Rebecca Tabakoff and Ross Thornton, will continue its national operations and service the Melbourne market directly.
