AiMCO offers members greater clarity with new guide

The Australian Influencer Marketing Council (AiMCO) has released a guide that offers readers more clarity regarding metrics and measuring campaign effectiveness.

The announcement:

The Australian Influencer Marketing Council (AiMCO) has ramped up its member support to include another specialist guide. On the key topic of metrics and measurement that will provide clarification on measuring and metrics best practice on influencer marketing.

Developed by AiMCO’s Best Practice Working Group the guide shares the knowledge and expertise of the industry’s leading influencer marketing and legal specialists. The guide supports AiMCO’s Code of Practice launched in 2020 and updated in 2021 bringing fresh updates to address important issues.

The AiMCO Influencer Marketing Measurement & Metrics Best Practice Guide has been developed to provide greater clarity on the importance of metrics and how to measure a campaign correctly and effectively.

The AiMCO guide:

• provides an introduction to metrics;

• explains pre-campaign metrics;

• guides influencers and creators and professionals on defining success metrics;

• discusses during and post campaign metrics;

• highlights legal considerations; and

• showcases specific platform metrics.

Jamie Taylor, AiMCO guiding council member and head of integration Havas Media explained the importance of creating the guide for members. “It’s been a labour of love for some time now, with experts from all corners of the industry inputting into the guide. We’ve landed on a comprehensive, yet succinct guide, which is valuable for marketers, agencies & creators alike.

It provides actionable insights, industry best practices, metrics definitions and even legal considerations to help you make informed decisions and achieve success in your influencer campaigns.”
