Airtasker appoints One Green Bean as PR agency of record

Airtasker has named One Green Bean its PR agency of record, following a three-way competitive pitch.

The agency was selected for its ability to support Airtasker’s growth objectives across Australia and New Zealand. The appointment also comes six months after Two Mad Cowboys was assigned the brand’s creative account.

“Airtasker is at a key point in our journey, with ambitious growth plans in Australia and internationally. Earned media is critical for building the brand, and we wanted to partner with an agency that had the strategic and creative thinking we need to help us deliver on those growth plans,” said Airtasker brand lead, Alexandra Aguirre.

The community marketplace for jobs and household tasks joins Afterpay, Amazon, Coca-Cola, Dyson and Nike on One Green Bean’s client list. Airtasker is part owned (18%) by Seven West Media.

Last year, the agency partnered with Universal Music’s Bring and fellow-Havas agency, Havas Media, to leverage the former’s access to music artists for campaign opportunities with the agencies’ respective clients.
