Aldi rolls out product-led spots in Perfect Aussie Christmas campaign

Aldi has continued to roll out 15-second spots in its Perfect Aussie Christmas campaign which sees the spots promote a variety of festive food available at the supermarket.

Created by BMF, the campaign tells the story of Johan who returns home to his small snow covered village Julbacken after a trip to Australia to tell of a summer Christmas, with the village soon coming around to celebrating Christmas in the Aussie-tradition with Aldi-selected produce.

The new 15-second spots use the recently converted people of Julbacken who spruik their favourite Aussie Christmas foods from Aldi.

BMF creative director Alex Booker said: “We loved being able to showcase how odd our traditions might appear to an outsider, while at the same time showing off the amazing range Aldi is bringing to the Christmas table this year.”
