Alexandra Bryant appointed executive director at Red Havas Sydney

Red Havas Sydney has appointed Alexandra Bryant into the newly created role of executive director – Sydney PR, in addition to joining the national senior leadership team.

She joins from Finchco Agency where she was managing partner and creative principal, bringing agency and client side experience to Red Havas.

She will lead the agency’s Sydney team, with responsibility for the performance, growth and operations, also taking a lead on the culture at the agency, and client consultations.

Bryant said: “Red Havas has long had a reputation for working with some of Australia’s best and biggest brands and brightest minds. The people-first approach, strong national leadership team and brave clients who strive to be meaningful in a sea of sameness was evident throughout the process.”

Earlier this year, Havas Group promoted Gupta to CEO of Havas PR in Australia, expanding her remit as CEO of One Green Bean to also include Red Havas.

Bryant’s previous experience also includes working with clients such as Westpac, Menulog, Fujifilm Instax, Mad Mex and Repurpose it. She has also worked on in-house communications and marketing for Westpac and Colgate-Palmolive.

She continued: “It is such an exciting time to join the business and work with Simone (Gupta) and Steve (Fontanot) to continue to grow our clients’ brands and strong culture with that signature Red flair.”

Bryant also works as board director for non-for-profit Little Wings, providing medical service transport access to sick children across regional and rural NSW.

Red Havas also recently appointed Haylie Marchant as executive director in the Brisbane office, also joining the agency senior leadership team.
