Allianz continues with two year old ‘Ahh-lianz’ campaign from MercerBell

Allianz is continuing with it’s ‘Ahh-lianz’ campaign which has been running for two years, with a new ad from MercerBell featuring a number of new ‘Ahhh moments’.

The commercial features people reacting to their damaged property and ends with the tagline “You’ll be okay with Allianz”.

Group manager marketing and brand for Allianz Dominic Brandon said: “Almost immediately we saw quotes and sales increase and in the two years since then, our brand recognition has doubled.

“This next phase of the campaign allows us to move beyond our traditional channels of TV and radio where the audio link with our brand name has worked so well, and bring Ahhh moments to life in other media channels.”

The first version of the campaign created by MercerBell launched in January 2012 further developing the campaign in the last two years in various ads, including one in which a real house was burnt down.

The new iteration launched on Sunday and is supported with radio, digital and outdoor executions.

Allianz has also put in place sports sponsorships with Foxtel for the football season with dropped catches, near misses and bloopers from different codes to be branded ‘Ahhh moments of the round, brought to you by Allianz’.

The insurer has also sponsored segments with Triple M Sydney’s The Grill Team.

MercerBell executive creative director David Bell said: “The concept is all about the feeling you get when things go wrong, when you just want someone else to sort it out for you.

“It’s based on real people, in real situations. Life really is full of Ahhh moments and people like to know someone is there for them when they happen.”
