Digital publishing company Allure Media has hired national sales director David Boldeman to lead its Sydney team and build a new sales staff in Melbourne.

Boldeman joins Allure from Bauer Media Group where he worked across a range of titles and platforms.

In his new role he direct sales across Allure’s stable of digital mastheads including Business Insider, Pop Sugar, Lifehacker and Gizmodo.

He said he looks forward to working on native advertising campaigns and integrated content opportunities for Allure’s brands, as well as establishing a sales base in Melbourne.

Jason Scott, who joined Allure as CEO in September, said he was thrilled to have Boldeman on board.

“We’ve got a good set of assets here in both global leading digital brands with audiences that are growing at dramatic rates. The missing piece was great sales leadership. We now have with David a knowledgable and passionate national sales director to lead us into the future.”
