Alt/Shift appointed to celebrate Bakers Delight’s 40th birthday

Alt/Shift have been appointed to support Bakers Delight’s 40th birthday celebrations.

The announcement:

Following a competitive pitch process, creative communications agency Alt/Shift is thrilled to announce it’s been working with Australia’s beloved bakery, Bakers Delight, to publicise four decades serving its communities.

Further extending Alt/Shift’s reach into F&B and retail sectors, this appointment has seen the agency flex its strategic muscle and leverage strong media networks to generate awareness and excitement surrounding the milestone birthday, while reflecting on Bakers Delight’s rich history.

The agency has already led PR activity surrounding Bakers Delight’s national giveaway on Tuesday, 29th September, that saw 40,000 iconic Cheesymite Scrolls gifted to Aussies across the country.

Alt/Shift has been particularly instrumental in sharing Bakers Delight’s family-centric business story and its unique community-focus, spotlighting franchisees across the country who champion their own communities.

Bakers Delight’s Corporate Communications Manager, Scott Darkin said Alt/Shift’s unique approach to the brief helped get them across the line.

“We were impressed by Alt/Shift’s enthusiasm and creativity, as well as their knowledge of Australia’s media landscape. This is a momentous and nostalgic occasion for us and we feel confident we’re partnering with an agency that has the tenacity to get the job done right,” he said.

General Manager of Alt/Shift, Sam Vassos said, “We’re thrilled to be appointed by Bakers Delight for both professional and personal reasons. We all have strong feelings of nostalgia when thinking about the Bakers Delight brand and we look forward to translating that passion
into solid results.”

Bakers Delight joins an ever-growing list of retail and F&B clients, including Sydney’s iconic Queen Victoria Building (QVB), Deliveroo and Lion Dairy & Drinks.
