America’s #1 yogurt launches in Australia

America’s number one selling Greek yogurt Chobani has launched this week in Australia.

Chobani has engaged creative agency Leo Burnett and media agencies M2M and Fleishman-Hillard to drive the initiative.

A representative for the company would not give details as yet to the company’s marketing or creative angle.

The launch is Chobani’s first international expansion and will be available in Woolworths throughout NSW before rolling out nationally.

The company started in New York in 2007.

For three years Chobani used only a grassroots strategy using Twitter, Facebook and blogger engagement.

In February 2011 the company launched its first above the line marketing campaign, using real ‘love’ stories that were based on real customers’ stories they’d initially posted on Facebook and Twitter.
