Mid tier media stocks lift the Unmade Index in positive start to the week

The biggest two locally listed media and marketing stocks fell today, while the rest of the market nudged into positive territory.

Nine lost 0.4% while Ooh Media dropped 0.2%.

Among the rest of the Unmade index, Seven West Media and ARN Media twinned, both rising by 3.7%. Vinyl Group was just behind, gaining 2.3%. Enero was up 1.5%

Motio shares did not move today, after being put in a trading halt by the ASX ahead of a capital raising announcement. Last week, the out of home advertising company revealed its quarterly profits were slightly better than expected.

The Unmade Index outperformed the wider ASX All Ordinaries, closing on 476.4 points, up by 0.8% for the day. The ASX All Ords was up 0.4%
