AMPR on track for growth with new and returning team members

AMPR has announced the return of several staff members as well as a number of new appointments.

The announcement:

Communications agency AMPR celebrated 30 years in 2021 and is gearing up for further success
and continued growth in 2022 with the expansion of its digital and content offering, impressive new recruits and notable new client wins.

Established in 1991, and with a team of 26 PR practitioners across three offices in Melbourne, Sydney and the Gold Coast, AMPR is an innovative and multi-disciplined communications agency that attracts and connects the best people and brands.

Jennifer Walsh has returned from maternity leave and taken on the role of Head of People and Performance.

She will continue to work alongside longstanding General Manager Jannah Flockhart and Managing Director Sarah Gale to drive growth and commercial success for the business.

The agency is planning for further growth in the Retail and Consumer department with the appointment of Ashleigh Bonica as Senior Communications Manager. Ashleigh brings with her a wealth of agency experience in the consumer sector and a passion for digital and social strategy. In addition, Emma Lomas, recently returned from the UK where she worked at Pangolin PR on major global campaigns and has joined AMPR as a Senior Communications Manager.

Senior Communications Directors, Cheyenne Myers (Fashion) and Laura Sheppeck (Beauty) continue to lead successful departments with internationally celebrated brands and growing Australian household names. Bridget Halpin, Ebony Santin and Hannah Keating have progressed into Communication Manager roles, and Kalli Loukides has joined the Fashion team in Melbourne as Communications Executive.

AMPR continues to experience growth in Sydney with Annalyse Woodgate, Content Creator, joining Jessie
Firmstone, Communications Manager, both based out of the agency’s new showroom space in Rosebery. AMPR is currently recruiting for a new Communications Manager position in Sydney.

Despite the ongoing pandemic, AMPR is thrilled to announce a host of new client wins including Adairs, Racing Victoria, Swisse, Impala Skates, Dementia Australia, A Perfect Space, Nine West and Dune London, as well as renewed contracts with Bondi Sands as well as its sponsorship of the 2022 Australian Open, Nissan Australia, Specsavers, PUMA, David Jones, Revlon, Elizabeth Arden, the Witchery White Shirt Campaign, Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF), Melbourne Racing Club and the National Gallery of Victoria for its annual Gala event.

Sarah Gale, AMPR Managing Director was especially proud to celebrate 30 years of AMPR in 2021 and is feeling excited for the future growth of the agency.
