Andrew Baxter joins Sydney Symphony Orchestra board

Andrew Baxter has been appointed as a director to the board of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.

The announcement:

Andrew Baxter the CEO of Publicis Australia is to join to the board of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra as a director.

In his former role as CEO of Ogilvy Australia, Andrew oversaw the creation of some of Australia’s most iconic advertising campaigns including “Share a Coke” for Coca-Cola and Rhonda & Ketut for AAMI. Andrew is a member of the Publicis Worldwide Global Management Board.

He is also Chair of The Song Room, a former Chair of the Melbourne Aces in the Australian Baseball League, and on the board of The Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation as well as the Communications Council.

He is also an enthusiastic supporter of the SSO and has been a member of Vanguard (the membership program for Gen X & Y SSO fans and future philanthropists) since its inaugural year of 2012.
