Angela Tangas joins dentsu X as national managing director
The former group executive at iSelect, Angela Tangas, has joined dentsu X as its national managing director.
Tangas was the group executive of energy and telco at iSelect for two years after being promoted from head of category, car and broadband in 2015.
In her new role Tangas will be responsible for continuing the growth of the detsu X brand after Dentsu Mitchell dropped the ‘Mitchell’ name to become dentsu X in November last year.
The move followed a global network rebrand from Dentsu Media to dentsu X.
Tangas is replacing Adrian Roeling who was named as the president of Dentsu Aegis Network’s media investment and partnership division, Amplifi, in November last year.
Simon Ryan, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network Australia and New Zealand, said Tangas will now become a member of Dentsu Aegis Network’s board.
“We’re delighted to be announcing such an outstanding appointment in Angela. A highly accomplished digital leader, Angela has established a solid reputation as a trusted senior advisor and thought leader with the drive, passion and determination to deliver innovative outcomes.
“This is a significant and exciting hire; not just for dentsu X, but the broader Dentsu Aegis Network. We look forward to working with Angela as she further builds and grows the brand and
delivers exceptional client solutions.”
Tangas said dentsu X is focused on partnership with its clients and “experience beyond exposure”.
“I believe dentsu X is well positioned to set a new baseline for optimisation of brand value and customer engagement in Australia that meets, pre-empts and measures the evolving needs of
Australian consumers. I am very much looking forward to being a part of this journey and future success.”
Not related to Angela or Dentsu X per se – but in looking around the iSelect site just now….
It looks like Geraldine Davies is no longer CMO?
Did I miss that change happening?
