PwC CMO Advisory appoints Sunita Gloster as director

Former chief commercial and strategy officer at Network Ten, Sunita Gloster, has resurfaced at PwC’s CMO Advisory as a director.

Gloster departed Ten in December last year after just five months at the network.

Gloster joins PwC CMO Advisory

Before joining Ten, Gloster was the CEO of The Australian Association of National Advertisers for four years.

Last year, Gloster joined the consultancy’s CMO advisory board alongside Mark Buckman.

At the time of their appointment, Gloster and Buckman were only external members on the board which includes Megan Brownlow, partner and editor of the PwC Australia Entertainment and Media Outlook; Mike McGrath, the firm’s chief marketing officer; Lawrence Goldstone, partner of The Difference; and chief creative officer Russel Howcroft.

In a press release, Gloster said: “I have long championed marketing as a driver for growth and that agenda remains a key challenge and opportunity for brands and businesses at large.

“Navigating the digital acceleration in media, customer engagement and technology will continue to be the key to proving marketing’s efficacy.

I’m delighted to be formalising my role with PwCs CMO Advisory and look forward to adding my own experience to the strength and expertise within the PwC network.”

Gloster commences her new role effective immediately.

Sammy Kumar, managing partner of strategy and transformation, said in a statement: “We have been fortunate to have Sunita’s input as part of our advisory board for the last year, however, having her join the team full time gives us the opportunity to bring an even deeper industry understanding to our engagements.
