Angus Thomson joins Bondi Advertising team

Angus Thomson has departed Campaign Palace to join Bondi Advertising to head up client service.

The announcement:

March 15, 2011 –

After launching only 12 months ago the boys from Bondi Advertising have signaled they mean business (and finally admitted they’re an agency) by snaring Campaign Palace and Bonds Account Director Angus Thomson to head up client service overseeing brands such as Mavi Int., Henleys, Lucky Beer, Tree of Life and others.

With his experience working both here and in the US across multiple categories on clients such as Reebok, eBay, Qantas and most recently Bonds, co-founder of Bondi Advertising Steve Thomson (no relation) described Angus as a natural fit.

“Great client service is obviously vital to retaining and attracting new business and Angus will help us deliver that. His experience, energy and ambitious attitude are exactly what we were looking for. Plus considering he’s a Bondi local (and we share the same name) it seemed obvious.”

Another sign that 2011 is shaping up as a big year, the team at Bondi Advertising recently relocated to an impressive new office space on the 1st floor of 31 Hall St. The iconic art deco building once home to the Commonwealth Bank, is a local landmark with a huge Surfection outlet taking over the ground floor space below.

The over 200 sq. metre indoor/ourdoor agency site is not only a great skateboard space but will also hold the agency’s upcoming first birthday, before serving as a gallery and event space in months to come.
