Another $6m added to Bohemian Rhapsody’s earnings over the weekend

Bohemian Rhapsody collected an additional $6.2m at the box office over the weekend, bringing total earnings to $17.158m.

The film, which is based on iconic UK band Queen, ran across 497 screens, and topped the box office for the second weekend running.

“… and topped the box office for the second consecutive weekend.”

Really?

It opened on Thursday November 01. It’s first weekend was November 3/4 which it topped. The following weekend (Nov 10/11), being its second weekend, it also topped the box office making it #1 on consecutive weekends.

It would need to top next weekend (Nov 17/18) to top the box office for its second consecutive weekend.
