ANZ helps Australians ‘upskill’ in new YouTube series via Keep Left and PHD

ANZ bank has launched a new 12-part YouTube series aiming to answer common financial questions searched by Australians on Google, via PR and creative agency Keep Left.

Starring influencer and comedic content creator Louis Hanson and ANZ finance experts Jade Khao and Liana Cauchi, the series, “Upskill your Financial Wellbeing”, builds on the brands ‘Financial Wellbeings” creative platform.

Answering questions with easy and digestible information, the campaign responds to the insight that Australians are increasingly focused on the health of their personal finances and are often relying on online video content for guidance.

Media for the campaign was handled by PHD, planned and bought across social and native, with the campaign to continue until September. Paid spots have also been run on Instagram, where Hanson has 107k followers.

Blair Kimber, executive creative director at Keep Left explained: “Banking content on YouTube can be dry or contrived. We wanted this to feel like native content that everyone from Gen Z to young parents would enjoy watching. In doing so we hope to give Australians the tips and tools they need to improve their financial wellbeing.”

Rossana Lambardi, media and partnerships lead at ANZ added: “Our experts had great fun working with Louis. He genuinely didn’t know the answers to most of these questions, and Jade and Liana were more than happy to explain it to him – and the rest of Australia – in terms we can all understand.

“We hope this campaign helps Australians understand that when it’s time to upskill their financial wellbeing, ANZ has the tips, tools and content to help them,” Rossana added.
