APN Outdoor marketing director will move to M2M Sydney

APN Outdoor marketing director Wendy Gower will leave her current role to take up a new job as general manager of M2M Sydney on September 9.
The announcement:
M2M have today announced that former UM Melbourne Managing Director and current APNO Marketing Director, Wendy Gower will be joining the team as General Manager for Sydney. One of the most experienced Media Executives in the market, Wendy brings with her almost 20 years experience across Agencies in London and Australia including UM, Mediacom and Initiative.
Wendy will be responsible for managing the M2M Sydney business and will join the OMD / M2M Executive Team. OMD & M2M Australia CEO Peter Horgan said “Wendy brings a terrific reputation and great experience in agency management, and marketing expertise. We are delighted she will be joining our leadership team.”
Wendy Gower said: “I am delighted to be joining the team at M2M. M2M has always been an agency I admired, with a reputation unsurpassed and a fierce competitor in any pitch. It has been a fantastic experience for me working at APN Outdoor over the past year however the opportunity to join the team at M2M was too compelling to pass up.”
Wendy will take the reins from former GM Sydney, Ben Sjogren. Ben has been with OMG for almost 8 years running M2M Sydney for 5 years and previously as a Business Director within OMD. Ben is leaving M2M to take up another opportunity and leaves with our gratitude and best wishes.
Wendy’s appointment is effective from 9th September.
