Apparent wins Volkswagen Australia digital pitch
Volkswagen Group Australia has chosen full-service global agency, Apparent, for customer experience (CX) and digital work, following a competitive pitch process.
The appointment will see Apparent work across four of the group’s brands – CUPRA, Volkswagen, Audi and Škoda.
Volkswagen Group Australia’s head of digital and customer relationship management, Joshua Wood, said the agency’s capabilities within creative innovation, data analysis and CX are in sync with the vehicle manufacturer’s vision.
“We are delighted to be partnering with Apparent. Their exceptional data analysis, customer experience, and creative innovation capabilities align perfectly with our vision,” Woods said.
“With a strong commitment to partnership we have great confidence in achieving meaningful outcomes.”
Suzy Smiley, managing director at Apparent, said: “It’s an honour to be selected as Volkswagen Group Australia’s Digital and CX partner.
“The appointment is a significant new partnership for Apparent. Volkswagen Group has an inspiring vision for the future and we’re excited about the opportunity to achieve outstanding results together.”
The business win comes over a week after the independent agency launched a campaign with Cricket Australia to raise awareness of the upcoming KFC Big Bash League.
Additionally, earlier this month, Apparent revealed that its brand new chief creative and experience officer is Hamish Stewart – the former national executive creative director of experience at CHEP Network.
Apparent’s other clients include the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Google and IBM.
