Apple launches new uniquely-Aussie spot via TBWA\Media Arts Lab

TBWA\Media Arts Lab, Apple’s bespoke global creative agency, has launched a new campaign via its Aussie team, featuring Australia’s favourite flying friend, the magpie.

The latest iteration of its ‘Relax, it’s iPhone’ campaign, puts the iPhone 15 to the ultimate test against the bird.

Appropriately titled ‘Swoop’, the spot aims to showcase the phone’s durability through a uniquely-Aussie tale of an office worker attempting to escape the bird.

The spot is set to premiere at the Australian Open semifinals.

The agency recently announced the appointment of Stuart Alexander, who joined after five years at The Monkeys.

He said of his appointment: “Media Arts Lab has a long and storied history of impeccably crafted work that impacts culture, a goal I have long strived to accomplish through my creative work.

“To say that I’m excited is an understatement and I can’t wait to share some exciting work already in development.”

The campaign is rolling out across TV, social and digital in Australia.
