Apps Village announces partnership with Tik Tok

Apps Village has partnered with Tik Tok to allow SMBs to advertise to Tik Tok’s 2.5 million Australian users.

The announcement:

Small to medium sized businesses will now be able to advertise on Tik Tok through SaaS solutions provider Apps Village (ASX:APV). APV will allow SMBs to create and manage campaigns on Tik Tok in under three minutes using its AI software and advertising management platform JARVIS.

The partnership makes the most of Tik Tok’s self-service advertising offering which launched globally in July. JARVIS will offer fully optimised advertising across the Tik Tok platform with no prior experience necessary.

Apps Village users are already able to use JARVIS to advertise across Facebook and Instagram and the company is expecting to be able to offer more advertising partnerships in the coming months.

Tik Tok was the most downloaded app in the world in October 2020 and remains one of the fastest-growing entertainment platforms with over 110m users in the US and 800m globally.

Tik Tok increased its focus on SME advertising earlier this year, recently launching a guide for SMEs looking to maximise their business visibility during the holiday period. Tik Tok data shows that 47% of Tik Tok users made a purchase decision based on content they saw on the platform, while 75% hope to support small businesses during the holiday season.

Apps Village CEO and Founder Max Bluvband said it is more important than ever for SMBs to maximise their advertising by increasing their connection with consumers.

“COVID-19 has proven how important online presence is for SMBs,” said Mr Bluvband.

“If small businesses want to be successful they need to establish a strategy and meet consumers where they are – online.

“Through this partnership with Tik Tok, we’re able to help SMBs who have no experience in social media advertising create optimised campaigns for Tik Tok and manage them in three minutes.

“It’s a complete gamechanger for SMBs looking to boost their business throughout the holidays and into 2021.”

In its September quarterly update APV reported a 23% increase in paying subscribers and a 300% rise in new leads for consumers using its JARVIS platform.
