Are you tough enough for The Tele?
If you thought life in the military was tough, you should try being a journalist on Sydney’s Daily Telegraph.
Saturday’s edition of Dr Mumbo’s favourite tabloid featured a full page piece by journalist Rhett Watson on what it’s like being shot by a taser . He concludes that it’s not very nice.
And the centre spread of the same edition was given over to a first person account from journalist Tim Vollmer on his terrifying night alone in the Blue Mountains bush. He also concludes that it’s not every nice.
Mind you, Vollmer doesn’t explain how it is during this lonely ordeal “never seeing any signs of life” that several photos of him were taken.
Knowing some snappers that Dr Mumbo has met previously, perhaps he meant “no signs of intelligent life”.
ZING !
That is hilarious !
How do you think up such funny remarks..?!

Actually Doc, since you’re blogging from Sydney – you’re quite right.

I think their TV editor, Erin McWhirter, will count herself lucky if she’s shot with only a tazer after writing two articles about the Masterchef winner then submitting the wrong one 30 mins before the real announcement… Interestingly the fake story had quotes from the “winner” and “runner-up” – I wonder where these quotes came from?
