Ārepa appoints jnr. as creative agency for ANZ

Food tech company Ārepa has appointed recently-launched creative agency jnr. across the Australian and New Zealand markets.

The New Zealand-based company works with neuroscientists to develop a range of 100% natural, clinically researched products, to benefit the brain.

Jnr. will be responsible for the brand’s strategy and creative, assisting its growth in the local markets.

Ārepa’s co-founder, Zac Robinson, said the brand appreciated jnr.’s fresh approach and advertising style.

“John and Ryan have the kind of brains we love to work with: values driven yet innovative and forward thinking, with an in-depth understanding of our needs and the market,” he explained.

“We’re excited to see where the partnership goes.”

John Marshall, co-founder and managing director of the agency, said Ārepa perfectly aligns with jnr.’s proposition of doing good work for good people.

Upon the agency’s launch in February, Marshall told Mumbrella the agency takes a ‘creativeffectiveness’ approach – which is described to not take the magic out of creativity, nor the brains out of complex theory, science and technology. Ārepa was a great fit for this approach, and seemed like a no-brainer client.

“Ārepa is an extremely innovative company, working at the forefront of brain health and nutrition, working to make a difference for people who consume their products. The fact they’re also founded in Aotearoa makes us feel privileged to partner with them as one of our first clients,” he said of the new appointment.

Ryan O’Connell, chief strategist and co-founder of jnr., added: “We’re pumped to partner with Ārepa. The team more than matches our passion for creativity, ambition and smart but simple thinking, so we’re really looking forward to bringing some exciting new work with them to market soon.”

An above-the-line campaign is set to launch in late-2024.
