The Australian Radio Network’s marketing executive Chris Phillips has left the network to take up a job as head of digital and consumer insight for Warner Music Australia.

Philips spent more than two and a half years with ARN and was responsible for the network’s marketing activities around its Brisbane stations Mix 106.5, WSFM, 97.3, 4KQ and The Edge as well as the launch of iHeartRadio Australia.

He had previously worked as a development executive for APN News and Media and worked with Channel Nine for three years as a program development manager.

Warner Music Australia represents artists such as Green Day, the Black Keys, Eskimo Joe, Wilco, Kimbra, Regina Spektor, Skrillez and Kylie Minougue. It’s labels include Warner, Atlantic, Roadrunner and Parlophone.

Warner Music’s media is handled by Starcom, which won the $5-$7m account from incumbent PHD in July last year.
