Ashley Earnshaw joins Carat as head of investment

Earnshaw Carat Sydney has appointed former head of content and partnerships at Mediacom Ashley Earnshaw as its new head of investment.

Earnshaw will report to Carat Sydney managing director Dan Sinfield, with the promotion coming days after the promotion of the agency’s national chief investment officer Paul Brooks to managing director of investment and partnerships of Amplifi, the Dentsu Aegis Group’s investment arm.

“I’m delighted to have someone of Ashley’s experience and ambition joining the agency,” said Sinfield.

“His investment credentials are well respected in the market and his recent role in the investment and content space make him the perfect candidate to drive our credentials in this space.”

He will lead investment and implementation for the agency and sit on Carat’s executive leadership team.

“It’s enormously exciting to be joining Carat, it is an agency with clear momentum and a compelling vision, with a talented leadership team and an impressive list of clients,” said Earnshaw.

“I really like the direction that Carat is going and this is a superb opportunity to contribute to the next phase of their success.”

The appointment is effective as of February 25.
