Ashley O’Rourke exits as director at Publicis Sport & Entertainment

Director at Publicis Sport and Entertainment, Anthony O’Rourke, is stepping down after almost three years in the role.

He said on LinkedIn today he is moving in-house to work with the brand and external communications team to support their client, Rio Tinto.

When O’Rourke joined in 2019, he reported in to managing director of Publicis content, including Publicis Sport and Entertainment, Patrick Whitnall, who stepped down in 2020 after five months in the role and 15 years at Publicis Groupe.

O’Rourke’s current boss Jason Tonelli, chief product officer – Publicis Groupe ANZ told Mumbrella: “Ashley O’Rourke has made a positive contribution to Publicis Sport and Entertainment. We thank him for the work he has done, and wish him the best for what lies ahead in the next step of his journey”
