Attivo Group brings comms function under new agency banner

Attivo Group has consolidated its public relations capability under newly launched agency, Tonic Communications.

Led by Georgia Coleman, who joined the marketing services group as general manager of PR in March 2023, Tonic Communications will encompass the New Zealand advertising group’s existing communications function, delivering a suite of strategic PR, social media, influencer, content and event service to clients across both NZ and Australia.

Attivo Group CEO Cam Murchison said new agency came in response to growing demand from clients for communications services.

“We’ve already seen the market respond positively and clients benefit from the expertise provided by Georgia and her team, and are all excited to see these business solutions develop even further under the Tonic brand,” he said.

“As our clients continue to look for new and innovative ways to reach consumers in challenging conditions, it is important we are able to offer them the full breadth of strategic communications.

“We’ve always believed in the power of collaboration, and having our own, established PR agency brand allows us to continue those relationships while pursuing other opportunities and developing other capabilities outside of the group’s existing client base.”

Tonic Communications joins Attivo Group’s suite of marketing agencies, which in Australia includes 303 Mullenlowe and Mediahub. The group has a minority stake in the latter agency, which is still majority owned by IPG Mediabrands.
