Audioboom’s Casefile True Crime tops the Australian Podcast Ranker
The Australian Podcast Ranker has a new #1 for the first time this year, as Audioboom’s Casefile True Crime knocks off Stuff You Should Know (ARN’s iHeartPodcast Network) from top spot.
The November ranker, released by Triton Digital, saw ARN’s iHeartPodcast Network Australia retain its position as the publisher with the most downloads, representing four of the top 10 titles.
Meanwhile, Hamish and Andy’s new podcast Remembering Project jumps into the Top 10, rising 20 places this month from its debut of #30.
SEN’s AFL Trade Radio also continued to experience strong downloads, in the month leading up to the AFL draft which took place this week, (climbing to #4).
There were seven new entries in the Top 100 Podcast Ranker this reporting period, including Dr. Death Season 2: Dr. Fata (Wondery), Do No Harm (Wondery), The Space (Nova), and Even the Rich (Wondery).
The Kyle and Jackie O show remains the #1 most-downloaded radio catch-up podcast, and sits in fifth place on the ranker. The next highest is Nova Entertainment’s Kate, Tim and Joel which fell one place to #11.
Casefile True Crime remains at #1 on the All-Australian Top 100 Podcast Ranker, which tracks only locally-produced shows.

The Aussie ranker had five new entries in November, some of which include Crappy to Happy – 3 Mindful Minutes (SCA-PodcastOne Australia), Drive with Joel & Fletch (SEN), and Stuff of Legends with Christian O’Connell (ARN/iHeartMedia).
Triton Digital reported 46.2 million downloads of shows from all participating publishers for the month of November.
Looking at the top publishers, Southern Cross Austereo-PodcastOne Australia remains in second position, followed by News Corp Australia in third.
Audioboom moves up one spot to fourth, going ahead of Whooshkaa’s Stitcher in fifth.
