August 12, 2016: Seven – Returning: Winners and Losers, Home and Away, Chicago Fire, Bates Motel, The Goldbergs New Series: The Durrells, How to Lose Weight, Saved, Code Black
A raft of new series and returning favourites begin on Seven after the Olympics, with the schedule slowly coming together.
Monday August 22 will see the new series premiere of Zumbo’s Just Desserts, followed by a prime time replay of the Olympics Closing Ceremony.
Tuesday August 23 will see 800 Words return for a second season at 8:30pm with Winners and Losers continuing at 9:30pm to create an Australian drama double. US series Chicago Fire is back with season 4 at 10:30, with Bates Motel picking up where it left off at 11:30pm.
Wednesday August 24 will see The Durrells at 8:30pm.
Thursday August 25 has the new series Code Black at 9pm, followed by the documentary series Saved at 10pm and How to Lose Weight at 11pm.
Home and Away is back Monday August 22 at 7pm.
In the second week back after the Olympics Seven will FINALLY air the final two episodes of The Goldbergs on the Monday night. Also expect The Big Music Quiz in the same week.
The Durrells have taken the Criminal Minds slot so expect the show to move slots – possibly Sundays, No word yet on Motive that got to episode 4, however I am not expecting Seven to pull this series for a second time – it should get a late slot.
No word yet on The Mindy Project, Mesmerised, Bogans, Benefits Street, Hannibal, Mistresses, Defiance, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Royal Pains, Mr Selfridge, Aquarius, Hotel Hell, The Catch, Gold Coast Medical, Marry Me, The Whispers, Battle Creek and/or Suspects on 7Two.
