Aussie Monsters make it to Anneccy

Monster AuditionsSticky Pictures’ short series Monster Auditions and short film Scary Therapy have been selected for this year’s Anneccy International Animated Film Festival in France.

The series will participate in the TV category, while Scary Therapy will screen in the non-competitive short film category.

Monster Auditions is a series of monologues of monsters visiting a psychiatrist. It was funded by SBS and Screen Australia. It is available for viewing here.

Scary Therapy was directed by Suren Perera, expanding the material from the series. The director’s most recent work, The Dukes of Broxstonia, is currently screening on ABC3 and will also be shown at the Melbourne International Animation Festival.
