Aussie music site We Are Hunted launches Twitter chart
After the huge buzz around its launch, Australian music streaming chart website We Are Hunted has launched its next initiative – a chart based on what Twitter users say they are are listening to.
We Are Hunted launched last month. It is a collaboration between wotnews.com.au and Aussie agency Native Digital.
The new We Are Hunted Twitter chart looks for Tweets indicating what Twitter users say they are listening to. Early signs are that Twitter users like more mainstream music than the We Are Hunted chart which digs into a wider mixture of social media.
From July, We Are Hunted also plans to start offering an insights tool, aimed at helping labels and marketers understand what is being said about different acts. The chart below is an example of what happened to Twitter sentiment after Kanye West dissed the service.
