Australia leads the way in Direct at Spikes

Australia has led the way in the Direct category at Spikes Asia, with Melbourne agencies just beating Sydney in shortlisted work.

Whybin\TBWA Melbourne have scored another shortlist for their ANZ GAYTMs for the ANZ Bank, with the agency’s Sydney office grabbing spots on the shortlist for its NRMA Crashed Car Showroom for NRMA Insurance and its Christchurch Repaired with Gold campaign for Christchurch & Canterbury Tourism.

DDB Melbourne’s Minute of Silence for RSL Australia and their Radiant Return campaign for PZ Cussons were also shortlisted.

Leo Burnett Sydney had two separate campaigns shortlisted, with its Safe Driving Program – Car Crash for Samsung’s S-Drive and their Safe Driving Program also for Samsung’s S-Drive making the cut, alongside the agency’s Melbourne office Honda H20 campaign.

Melbourne Remote Control Tourist, by Clemenger BBDO and Video Stamp also were shortlisted, alongside Zombie Followers for Foxtel out of the agency’s Sydney office.

GPY&R’s Emergecy for Defence Force Recruiting, Bashful Sydney’s KMS Shags for KAO Australia, Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney’s Penny the Pirate for OPSM and Che Proximity Melbourne’s Alert Shirt for Foxtel round out the Australian contenders in the category.
