Australian Cannes Lions Jury Panel confirmed

logo-cannes-2013The Australian representatives for the 2014 Cannes International Festival of Creativity have been confirmed.

News Corp Australia’s group director – sales Fiorella Di Santo , who made the announcement, said in a statement: “I’m delighted to be announcing these excellent leaders as Australian Jurors at the world’s pre-eminent creative advertising festival. The cross-section of talent selected demonstrates the quality of creative leaders our country has.”

The 2014 Australian Cannes Lions Jurors are:

  • Film: Matty Burton, Whybin/TWBA
  • Press: Damon Stapleton, Saatchi & Saatchi
  • Outdoor: Darren Spiller, DDB
  • Media: Mark Pejic, Mediacom
  • Digital: Kristian Saliba, The Monkeys
  • Direct: James McGrath, Clemenger BBDO
  • Radio: Vince Lagana, Leo Burnett
  • Promo & Activation: Michael Knox, Grey
  • PR: Claire Salvetti, Mango Communications
  • Design: David Park, Maud
  • Film Craft: Corey Esse, Exit Films

News Corp is he Australian media partner for the event, and manages the Australian Cannes Young Lions competition.

Di Santo said: “Australia had its best year ever in Cannes last year. The 2013 Australian Young Lions took home two medals and our Young Lions competition was awarded most successful in the world. This year, we will continue to grow our competition with more industry support opening up more opportunities for our winners. Details of our re-launched competition will be revealed soon.”

The 61st Cannes International Festival of Creativity will be held from 15-21 June 2014.
