Over 4 million watched last night’s Australian Open final
Over 4.7 million Australians tuned into the thrilling Australian Open men’s final last night, according to OzTAM’s VOZ Total TV report.
Under the new ratings system, which debuted today, national reach signifies how many people watched on free-to-air for a minute, or BVOD for 15 seconds.

Jeez, I hope the 64 seconds I watched before switching over in which I didn’t see any ads was worth it for the sponsors…it’s taken 20 years for TV to get on the digital bandwagon of truly meaningless numbers just as the rest of the industry goes the other way.
Does this now mean that YoY comparison is not going to be possible as we are measuring from two different data sets?
Yeah, I guess not until this time next year.
Absolutely farcical numbers
