Australian Red Cross Blood Service hands creative account to Cummins & Partners
The Australian Red Cross Blood Service has appointed Cummins & Partners as its creative agency following a pitch held late last year.
The service put the pitch out to market in June last year and is currently reviewing its media agency arrangements.
Adam Ferrier, chief strategy officer at Cummins & Partners, said: “The challenge of getting Australian’s to donate blood is a tough one. Everyone knows they should, but very few people actually do. Our behavior change methodology allowed us to get a strong understanding of the Red Cross Blood Services challenges and develop an idea we are extremely confident will work well.”
The appointment is for three years and encompasses strategic and creative services.
Ben Scales, national campaign manager at the Australian Red Cross Blood Service, said: “We were looking for a fresh approach to move the needle – and we’ve got something we’re genuinely excited about. We selected Cummins&Partners on the strength of their strategic and creative thinking, and they seem like nice people to work with.”
Chris Jeffares, CEO at Cummins & Partners, said “We are stoked to be working with the Red Cross Blood Service. Everyone enjoyed the pitch process, and we are honored to have such a respected brand join our agency.”
The appointment is for three years and encompasses strategic and creative services.
Cummins & Partners clients include ABC, Alfa Romeo, British Paints, Tourism WA and Vodafone.
