Australian Rugby Foundation campaign showcases values of sport in communities

Australian Rugby Foundation CampaignThe Australian Rugby Foundation has unveiled ‘Rugby Made’, a campaign that focuses on the positive role that Rugby Union can play in Australian communities.

Created by 303 MullenLowe, the national digital-only campaign focuses on individual players of both sexes and diverse ethnicities speaking about how the sport has positively affected their lives.

The 60-second advertisement features local, state and national players expressing how Rugby Union changed their lives.

From encouraging a focus on school to improving mental health and establishing a sense of belonging, the ad reflects on the broader impact of the game for society.

Ending with the campaign slogan ‘support the game that changes lives’, the campaign was created to highlight the courage, commitment, teamwork and support that participating in rugby provides.

Nick Cleaver, CEO of 303 MullenLowe, said: “We wanted to show how rugby has had a positive effect on changing the lives of all kinds of people outside of the game itself.”
