The marketing push, which carries the strap ‘Sydney Comes to Life’, includes print and out of home advertising and features images of jockey Hugh Bowman and a model.

Australian Turf Club chief operating officer, Tony Partridge, said the campaign reflects the “colour, pizzazz and energy” of the Spring Carnival.

“We are seeing Sydneysiders become more aware and involved with racing during the Spring,” he said. “This campaign is our opportunity to capitalise on the market noise the racing season brings to Sydney and give Sydneysiders the permission to come to Royal Randwick or Rosehill gardens and really celebrate what Spring Racing is about.”

The Spring Carnival is held at Royal Randwick and Rosehill Gardens over nine weeks from September 10 to November 1.
