AustralianSuper reviews media account
One of Australia’s largest superannuation funds, AustralianSuper, is in the final stages of reviewing its media agency arrangements, Mumbrella can reveal.
AustralianSuper is the largest fund within Industry SuperFunds, however the umbrella group’s media account remains with IPG Mediabrands’ Initiative.
Mumbrella understands the media account for AustralianSuper previously sat with Dentsu Aegis Network’s Carat.
The brand’s media spend between April 2017 and March 2018, according to Nielsen, was $3.2m.
AustralianSuper spokesperson Stephen McMahon confirmed to Mumbrella the pitch is in its final stages.
“We are currently in the final stages of a review of AustralianSuper’s agencies,” he said.
Mumbrella understands the new agency will be revealed in a matter of weeks.
Carat has been approached for comment.

Hi Another Agency,
Wow. I have no idea how I managed that. Stephen definitely did not say that.
Apologies. It has been updated.
Thanks,

Word around is that it’s media and creative, ideally in one spot / one combined offering.
