Australia’s Got Talent beats Masterchef

Australia’s Got Talent on Seven raced past Masterchef last night although Ten was not helped by transmission problems that also hit sister digital channel Eleven.

The problem meant that audiences in Adelaide didn’t see the final segment of Masterchef or the first part of the series return of Bondi Vet, although the cooking show was repeated later that night. On Eleven, Neighbours was badly affected by the technical glitch which took place at Ten’s control room in Sydney, rating only 216,000, not much more thna half its usual audience.

Australia’s Got Talent rated nearly 1.8m while Masterchef delivered just over 1.4m according to preliminary overnight ratings from OzTam.

Drama Winners & Losers rated 1.3m for Seven.

Bondi Vet ended up just the wrong side of 1m foTr en with 966,000.

It was an awful night for Nine, with Customs rating 761,000, AFP on 675,000 and Sea Patrol on 603,000.
