Barista Bros says ‘the deliciousness is in the detail’

Coca-Cola South Pacific’s Barista Bros Iced Coffee has told Australians it is so delicious because of the detail put into making its flavoured milk, with beans “flown specially from Brazil”.

Ogilvy Sydney was tasked with building a stronger emotional connection between consumers and the brand.

The 45-second ad details how the flavoured milk is supposedly made, beginning with flying beans in from Brazil, to placing the beans on their own personalised pillows, to being hand roasted in the sun and being “crushed with care”.

The campaign is set to run across TV, cinema and online and the commercial will appear throughout shows including The Bachelor, The Block, True Story with Hamish & Andy, This Time Next Year, The AFL Footy Show, Kath & Kim and Australian Survivor.

Jason Wu, brand manager at Barista Bros, said in a statement: “What we want to demonstrate with this campaign is that Barista Bros has that same level of dedication to taste and quality when it comes to iced coffee, with our quality ingredients and attention to detail creating the best-tasting flavoured milk drink in market.”
