WHICHCAR TV REVS UP FOR AN EVEN BIGGEST AND MORE EXCITING NEW SEASON IN 2020

Bauer Media is proud to announce that WhichCar will give fans even more exciting new car adventures, road tests, comparisons and car culture insights in season two with 30 episodes planned, 10 more than season one.

Season two of WhichCar, Australia’s favourite free-to-air new car show, kicks off on Network 10 on Australia Day, Sunday, January 26 2020.

The WhichCar TV show is an extension of WhichCar.com.au, Australia’s fastest growing auto consumer website which reaches more than 1.2 million people every month. The show will again be packed with the best new car reviews, adventures and more.

WhichCar’s mission is to be everything car buyers need and car lovers want. In 2020 the WhichCar team will travel to the far reaches of Australasia and beyond, bringing their automotive passion, adventures and advice to the small screen.

“We are thrilled to again be working with Network 10 to bring Australians a show highlighting the incredible variety of new cars in Australia today,” said Terry King, WhichCar’s Executive Director and General Manager of Publishing.

The decision to produce an even bigger second season was an easy one, said Mr King. “We loved making this uniquely Australian car show and Australians clearly loved watching it too.

“WhichCar TV reached more than 200,000 viewers each week on Network 10. A significant portion of that audience was female (41%), which is a reflection of the show’s broad appeal.”

WhichCar TV’s presenters are all expert car journalists from Bauer Media’s Motoring publications: WhichCar.com.au, Wheels, Motor, 4X4, Unique Cars and Street Machine.

The team’s authenticity and expertise are central to its success, said WhichCar’s Creative Director Glenn Butler.

“Our talented journalists draw on decades of automotive industry knowledge and experience to deliver their insights through a highly-relatable consumer lens. Equally, the cars are the stars. There’s such diversity on offer to Australian consumers today, and we strive to highlight the unique appeal of every car we feature.”

“We are also proud to again have the support of our major partner Continental Tyres on this exciting journey with us.”

In New Zealand, WhichCar TV will again be aired on the Prime TV network on Saturday evenings. The start date is still to be confirmed.
