Bauer Trader Media launches online jobs portal

Bauer Media Group division Bauer Trader Media has launched job search website TradeYourJob.com.au for skilled workers seeking jobs in transport, trades and agricultural sectors.

The announcement:

Bauer Trader Media, a division of Bauer Media Group, the world’s largest magazine publisher, has expanded its online portfolio with the launch of TradeYourJob.com.au, Australia’s specialist transport, skilled trades and industry jobs portal.

Identifying a need in the market for a jobs portal geared to the needs of transport, trade and agricultural employers and workers, Bauer Trader Media has undertaken a significant overhaul of its popular Transjobs.com.au jobs website to broaden the opportunities for employers and workers to find the right jobs for their skills.

Supported by a national press, radio and online campaign, TradeYourJob.com.au aims to become the destination for skilled trades and transport workers looking for their next position, and a valuable resource for employers seeking the skilled workforce that underpins Australia’s professional transport, logistics, manufacturing and agricultural industries.

This employment initiative is a direct response to the growing number of people seeking skilled jobs in industries such as construction, manufacturing, logistics and transport. Bauer Trader Media has launched the TradeYourJob.com.au website to complement its existing broader employment classifieds business which will now be expanded to include employment sections in 11 (printed) magazine titles within the Trader Group, as well as their associated websites.

Bauer Trader Media CEO Keith Falconer said, “The new website offers unprecedented opportunities for Australian workers. Our integrated multi-platform publishing model gives employers and workers the right tools to make the right connections across a range of transport, skilled trades and agricultural sectors.

“TradeYourJob.com.au represents the natural evolution of specialist job portals to efficiently service markets that are today underserved by generalist job sites.

“Bauer Trader Media has strong established relationships with manufacturers, dealers and service providers across the Transport, Agriculture, Construction and Manufacturing industries Australia-wide. Launching TradeYourJob.com.au extends and builds on those relationships, helping employers find the right people with the right skills.

“For skilled trade workers, transport and logistics professionals, managers and executives, TradeYourJob.com.au brings a vast array of relevant jobs into a central portal that is easy to navigate, and increases their chances of finding the job suited to their particular skill set. It’s truly a win-win scenario.

“Bauer Trader Media’s integration of online and print publishing is perfectly matched to the needs of job seekers and employers. Coupled with the core demographic profiles and industry knowledge, Bauer Trader Media delivers the right audience using the right channels.”

“Whether they are HC drivers, warehouse managers, supply chain professionals or agricultural workers, most of our readers still have a strong preference for print products for discovering opportunities. Many also value the search-ability, immediacy and efficiency of an effective easy-to-use website. Listing all jobs online and in print effectively doubles the opportunity for employers and recruiters,” added Mr Falconer.

“Audience engagement is central to our success and we’ll deliver content on any platform the customer desires. With the launch of TradeYourJob.com.au we have married the reach of our print publications with the technical capabilities of our online products, to give employers and skilled workers the right tools to find the right jobs for the right people.”
