Bayer calls creative pitch

Pharmeceutical giant Bayer has called a global creative pitch in a move which could have implications for Australian agencies.  

Bayer uses several agencies for its range of prescription products including Ward 6, CJB (which is part of the Clemenger group), Totem and Medicus. And although BBDO Worldwide looks after Bayer’s over-the-counter analgesics, this is not a category heavily marketed by the company in Australia.

According to Advertising Age, the global consolidation of the $1bn business is a cost cutting exercise.
