BCM wins TransLink

Public transport network TransLink Transit Authority has appointed advertising agency BCM.   

The announcement:

TransLink Transit Authority has appointed BCM after a competitive pitch involving three agencies.

TransLink looks after one of the largest integrated public transport networks in the world, co-ordinating and delivering bus, train and ferry public transport services, as well as customer information, ticketing and infrastructure across South East Queensland (SEQ). Approximately 1 million people (over the age of 16) use public transport in SEQ, consisting of 180 million trips in 2009/10.

“We’re looking forward to working with the TransLink team to develop integrated communications for the TransLink brand,” stated BCM Agency Partner, Kevin Moreland.

BCM pitched against the incumbent agency, Junior and also Redsuit. The appointment is effective immediately. Billings are undisclosed.
