OMD wins Weight Watchers
Weight Watchers has appointed OMD to handle its media buying account.
The annoucement:
OMD Australia are very pleased to announce that they have been appointed the $8m national media buying account for Weight Watchers, following a review of their media agency alignments. The role will cover offline buying services and online planning and buying.
Weight Watchers operates three broad business lines; The Program, Weight Watchers Foods, and The Publishing Division. Australia was one of the first overseas territories to be established for the global brand, having celebrated its 40th anniversary last year.

OMD will take over media planning and buying for Weight Watchers effective immediately.
