Beam Australia installs Andrew Coates as marketing director
Beam Global Australia has poached Andrew Coates from Lion Nathan to be the company’s marketing director, Mumbrella can reveal.
He starts at Beam Global, which counts Jim Beam and Teacher’s as key brands, on July 25.
Coates replaces James Sykes, who was promoted to a regional role as marketing director of Beam Global Asia Pacific.
A Beam source confirmed the news, adding that it is unlikely that Coates would be looking to alter Beam’s “solid” agency relationships.
In March last year, Coates moved to the role of national category manager at Lion Nathan, running the drinks company’s relationship with Woolworths.
